Hints and tips showing how to pass level 50 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Level 50 is a jelly level and there is jelly over the whole board so everything has to be cleared to complete the level. The licorice is locked by licorice locks and the only way to unlock the locked licorice is to hit it with wrapped candies or striped candies. (check lower down for links to pages which will show how to make the wraps and stripes) Look carefully at the whole board before every move so that you don't miss a chance to make the special candies you need.

If the
level you play is different from the one here it is because the developers have
changed it since I played and I have no control over this. Please let me know
on our FB group and I will
try to change it.

Tips for the original level 50 Candy Crush Saga.
Before you make a move look carefully around the board to see if you can unlock some of the locked candies by matching the candies inside.
Do this every time you make a move. Also try to work in the bottom as much as possible so you will get candies falling and often this will make matches without you having to make a move.
Always look for lines of 4 or 5 to make special candies and combinations.
Striped candies are very good for unlocking the middle of the board and if you can get them together with a wrapped candy even better.
A colour bomb will open all locked squares of the colour that you match it with.

I have been reading lots of comments from people saying they can't move on from level 50.
Once you complete the level click on level 51 or on the train station and you will be given options to either pay, get tickets from friends to move on for free, or do quests if you're not connected to FB.
You don't have to redo the level once you have done it and if you do decide to do it again you do not need to get a higher score than before to move on. The scores for 1, 2 and 3 stars are the same however many times you pass the level. It just says your target is higher if you want to improve your score but you only need ONE star to pass any level.
I hope this has cleared up any confusion.
