Hints and tips showing how to pass level 2790 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
You need to unlock the four cherries from the locked cells and get them down to the exits in 18 moves to complete level 2790 Candy Crush Saga.
Stripe/wrap combos are the most useful combos if you can manage to make them, but with so many locked candies this can be tricky.
Once you have opened up the board by unlocking the locked candies and clearing some of the blockers it should be easier to make the combos you need. Although there are 5 colours on the board I have found it to be fairly easy to make the special candies and combos needed to collect the ingredients.
If you are struggling with this level a coconut wheel can be really useful as it will always be in a position to unlock at least one of the cherries at the start because the board is quite small.
I used a hammer to complete the level with only 18 moves after playing 25 times and getting bored.

I don't think this level is possible on iPad - 18 moves and blockers harder to clear. Best to play 1 or more episodes in arrears and allow time for levels to be fixed...
Played hundreds of times..cant get close...waiting for lucky board.
I must be missing something. Can only Get 2 cherries.
This is ridiculous!!! I'm not coming close and don't see any tricks here. I must be stupid after all these years of playing cc cuz this is not even marked hard level. Helmet boosters don't do any good either. Will play for boosters until boredom passes.

Of course I only have 18 moves!! All I have to do to pass is buy gold bars to buy extra moves!! Of course there's a special!! A piggy bank filled of gold bars for $2.99. It's buy or quit!!

I wonder how long We have to wait for KING to change this level. It's very very hard and no fun at all when you have to wait (AGAIN!!!!) for a lucky board.

Well,well ....KING has seen the light! What we already knew: this level is HARD!!!! And.....no fun,...no skill-needed, redicoulas and will be probable the reason that a lot of players will quit. KING still does not understand that games are for FUN!!!! Why all these hard levels. Do they want to get ride of us!??
Really stupid level. Most of the time I can’t even get the cherries out of their locked position let alone get them down. Most I’ve managed is two cherries out. Playing on iPad and I see someone else is having the same difficulty. Too hard with not enough moves given.

KING are making levels much more difficult so people are willing to spend more money to get help to pass these stupud levels..they are making it much less fun for players by doing this..i used to really enjoy playing CC but its getting rediculous..im looking for another game to play now as this has becime a joke..constantly lowering the number of moves to make the levels harder..

I used the wheel and wrapped candy boosters, restarted until they were next to each other horizontally, and got a whole line of wrapped candies. Finished with 2 moves to spare...after having been stuck for several days...
I really dislike this level.
I won 2789 without boosters. I don’t watch results after each move. I’m always looking for next move ignoring any previous results. Then getting extra moves when available
I wonder why people are complaining about this level it was quite easy for me as I conquered this level on my 1st attempt with no booster ������

So AWFUL AND BORING, been here for days and I will NOT, I REPEAT NOT SPEND A EFFIN DIME ON THIS LEVEL!!! KING keeps making levels so impossible so we buy SHIT!!! Has anyone else noticed that you boosters just disappear after you have saved them up? This has happened a couple times to me, then you get ro an aweful level like this and no help. Hmmm curiius.

This has got to be the worst level ever ! We have had some tough levels but this one is the pits. Been playing Candy Crush for a long time, now is the time to give up, shame.
At least CC is giving us lots of free boosters. While stuck on a level, especially if boosters don't help, you collect a nice arsenal to get you through a bunch of levels. Then you get stuck again, and build up the boosters. Nice pattern!

I’ve been on this level for days with no success. Typical of King games. Fed up trying to get a lucky board because certainly there is no skill involved in this game. If something doesn’t change soon I won’t be playing this boring game anymore. Started some new games now and having more fun and less stress. Soon to bid King games goodbye.

Wow people get really mad!!! Not worth the stress people it’s only a game. This level however is a bit of a bugger. But as with every other level king will let me through eventually. Off to play poker where I am in control.

Well, I can only conclude that the CC god's are smiling on me? (As if....) I passed the last three levels on 1st try. Maybe the difference is that I am completely and utterly relaxed because I really just see it as fun now, not the exasperating frustrating game that it was? I recently have had to worry about staying alive, and I just don't care about winning any more? And it makes the game so much easier!!
CC has made the game more about luck than skill, they feel people will pay more that way(probably correct). I just went through a bunch of levels on the first try, I'm sure if I read the comments it wouldn't be any different.
I've tried using boosters, not using boosters, no different, this is one I play 5 games, don't get lucky and spend my time elsewhere.
